WE and 'the others'

With their presentation, the group from Bački Petrovac demonstrated that they had understood well the instructions from previous education (for teachers and students), which emphasised that the research material should be packed in a way to attract attention of the audience with its aesthetic and performing standards. They presented biographies of four women from Bački Petrovac (a painter, a Red Cross activist, an ecologist,...) in an exhibition which was exceptionally well designed. The entire space of the local Cultural Centre was meticulously conceived so that visitors had extraordinary ambiental impression.

The photographs were arranged quite unconventionally. Those from their private lives were hidden behind 'windows' through which visitors had to peep, and those representing their public lives were placed throughout the exhibition space, on the walls, hanging from the ceiling. The local television covered this event.

The exhibition had guests from Kovačica, the whole group with teachers – included in the project We and the Others. It was an important meeting for both hosts and guests. The promotion was attended by Marija Rudić (OSCE) and Zagorka Aksentijević (Group 484). Around 70 persons were present at the promotion.
